Volunteering at Queen Anne Elementary

Volunteer Opportunities
Policies, Procedures, and Forms
Immediate and Upcoming Needs

Hello and Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Queen Anne! Our creative, interdependent and evolving learning environment would not be possible without the enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who give so much of their time, energy, expertise and good humor.

Parent involvement is a big part of what makes Queen Anne special. We are also more than happy to have assistance from the greater community.  So... what are you waiting for?
In this section you'll find everything you need to know about volunteering at Queen Anne. Whether you are a new or returning parent, guardian, friend, neighbor or family member, we encourage you to take a few minutes to review these pages.  Also, in order to build the best match between you, our volunteers, and the projects we have available, please let us know about you, your interests and expertise by completing our Volunteer Interest Survey.

In particular, please go to Volunteer Policies and Procedures to learn what you need to do BEFORE you may officially volunteer for Queen Anne (e.g. allow us to run a background check).

Questions? Feel free to email us. Our inaugural year at Lincoln & 1st year on Queen Anne Hill were great; full of more activities than one might expect from such a young school!  Fall 2012 begins QAE’s second year in our own permanent home, and it promises to be exciting, too, while we continue to build our programs as well as our school community.  So plan on grabbing some friends - and making new ones - when you join in the fun!  No contribution is too small. Together, we can create an outstanding place for ALL learners, big & small, young & old.

Thanks again for your interest!
