                                              VISION
                                              Create, maintain, and support a healthy and successful environment within the QAE community and support staff, students, and their families in the quest for an excellent education

                                              PTSA ROLES
                                              Enrichment, event planning, fundraising, sounding board, liaison between parents and administration, working on local and state legislative issues, and much more!

                                              GET INVOLVED
                                              There are plenty of opportunities to be involved  - Reach out to a PTSA leader or sign up to volunteer today!

                                              PTSA Coordinated Clubs, Activities, and Classes

                                              Before/After School Chairperson - Alison Payauys
                                              In addition to the variety of great enrichment opportunities already in place, the PTSA is open to any other suggestions/requests from the parent community.  If there are enough families interested, we will find a way!

                                              Language Classes
                                              •Provided by Sponge
                                              •Currently offering Spanish for grades K-2
                                              •Two classes : – one meets 2-days  a week – the other meets 5-days a week
                                              • Additional languages and classes for higher grades available with enough interest
                                              Drama Club
                                              •Provided by SP Nation (Sweet Pea Cottage)
                                              •Offered to K-5 students
                                              •Presented “Trickster Tales” in December at end of club’s Fall session
                                              •Currently in Winter session
                                              Piano Lessons
                                              •Provided by Music on Wheels
                                              •Offered to K-5 students
                                              •30 minute lessons
                                              •Individual or two students in a lesson
                                              Lego Club
                                              •Provided by Playwell TEKnologies
                                              •Currently offering Pre-Engineering for grades K-2
                                              •In Fall 2010 also offered Engineering FUNdamentals for grades 2-5
                                              Art Club
                                              •Provided by Kids Create
                                              •Offered to students in grades K-5
                                              •Current Winter session theme is “Art and Architecture”
                                              Other Club activities (not sponsored by the PTSA) include:
                                              •Running Club – including training for the Seattle Kid’s Marathon
