Be The Match Bone Marrow Registry Drive
Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 6-8pm during the QAE Spaghetti Dinner
In conjunction with the Puget Sound Blood Center and Queen Anne Elementary PTSA, we are holding a Bone Marrow Donor Registry Drive on Thursday, May 17 from 6:00-8:00pm during the QAE Spaghetti Dinner (details about the dinner coming soon!). We will have a table available where interested adults, between the ages of 18 and 60, can sit with a volunteer to educate themselves about the donation process, complete a questionnaire to ensure eligibility and perform a simple cheek swab for testing.
Registration is free! The Puget Sound Blood Center covers ALL costs for registration and testing.
70% of all patients cannot find a match within their own family. Please consider stopping by the table to talk with us!
