Dear QAE Families,

We are excited to see your family at Back to School Night on Thursday, August 30th, from 4-6PM.

Back to School Night is an open forum where families (who have a student enrolled at QAE in 2012-13) can come any time during the event, explore the grounds at their leisure and meet teachers. You can also get information on school events, clubs, volunteer opportunities, and more. KidsCo will be there too, so you can obtain information about before and after school childcare. 

Classroom assignments will be posted at the school on 8/30, and on the website on 8/31.

Walk through the community garden for a taste of what's growing, and bring your checkbook to buy QAE spirit wear!

QAE Staff and the PTSA

Please join us for a fun evening in the park!  This will be a great event, a chance to meet other Queen Anne Elementary families, and enjoy the last days of summer.

When:  Sunday, August 29th at 5:00pm
Where:  Wallingford Playfield (4219 Wallingford Ave N)  Map
Food:  Please plan to bring your own food for this event (see note below)

IMPORTANT:  There has been a change in plans regarding food for this event.   Food for purchase from Taco Del Mar will no longer be provided as an option at the picnic  This change is based on an unexpected increase in the overall cost of the food and making sure we are responsibly using the currently limited amount of PTSA funds.   Thank you for your understanding!

A variety of beverages will be provided - water, juice, and sodas.  Street Treats will be on hand with their ice cream, cookies, pies and bars for purchase.
