Reminder that the first summer playdate is coming soon - we hope to see everyone at David Rodgers Park from 4:00-6:00 on Monday, 7/2.  Some snacks will be provided, feel free to bring more snacks for yourself or to share.  If any current parents would like to help with (minimal) setting up, please contact Jill at jillga@me.com.

Where to begin?  What a wonderful year it's been at QAE, can you believe all of this goodness had happened in just 2 years?

THANK YOU for a wonderful field day yesterday, it was a huge success.  Special thanks to our amazing PE teacher, Mr. R and to Kristin Teske for organizing what the kids are calling an EPIC day!  And thanks to all of the parents & staff who helped make it happen. 

THANK YOU to Mr. Elliott, teachers and staff for giving us another warm, wonderful year of learning and helping our kids become better, smarter more responsible citizens of the world.  Your work is appreciated every moment of every day.

THANK YOU to all of our parents for choosing to attend QAE and help make this such an incredible school.

Thursday is Field Day! All students will be having a picnic at Little Howe that day. Please pack your child a sack lunch, which can be trashed/recycled (no lunch boxes if possible).

Also, please help your child remember to wear their class color for the day. They may get wet, dirty or wet and dirty, so plan accordingly.

Feel free to come cheer students on as they play games and have fun. They will be back at QAE for normal pick-up.

Lost & Found

Hello Families,
 
This is the last post of the year about the items in the Lost and Found.  The hanging rack and tubs are filled with sweatshirts, coats, shirts, pants, hats, lunchboxes, water bottles, etc.  If your child is missing something chances are it's in the Lost and Found which is located in the Treehouse (white building).  Please come by and grab anything that belongs to you.  Staff will try and deliver items to the owner's classroom if there is a name inside.  Anything that is left by the end of the school year will be donated to Wellsprings Family Services.

 
 
In honor of this last week of the 2011/2012 school year, we are going to celebrate with Spirit Week! Your teachers should already have announced the color your child should wear on Thursday for Field Day, but here is a list of the entire week of dress-up fun.  The class that has the most participation gets to skip school on Monday, June 25th!  So let's all get in on the fun!

Final Garden Party

Hey, hey, HEY!!!
